Rules and Ethics
Standards and Guidelines for Driftwood Martial Arts
- Be respectful both on and off the mat. No one is ever required to train with anyone they do not want to train with.
- Be mindful of the safety of others at all times, regardless of age, size, strength, or skill level.
- Keep politics and religion off the mat. We are here to train.
- Maximum two (2) guests per active member at any time. Guests may train free for one class; after that a drop-in fee applies. All guests must sign the liability waiver. The member is responsible for their guest's conduct.
- Food and drink inside the facility is a privilege, not a right. Help keep the facility clean. After each session, assist with mopping the mat and picking up trash. If you brought it in, pack it out.
- Do not talk while an instructor is addressing the class. Keep questions on topic.
